Job Title WVS tester
CDL WVS & EVV Development team is responsible for developing IBMs major three voice products, WebSphere Voice Server (WVS), Embedded ViaVoice (eVV),WebSphere Voice Response(WVR). We are currently the owner of recognition and text-to-speech engines, product testing and level-3 support. We are looking for talents with testing skills across CDL and external.
Tester will have opportunities to develop deep skills and knowledge in WVS (Webspere Voice Server) product, to work closely with worldwide senior technical people.
* executing existing WVS tests cases
* writing and executing manual and automated testcases for WVS features
Required Skills:
Knowledge of testing approaches and techniques
Scripting languages (i.e. Perl, Javascript)
Multiple OSs (AIX, RedHat, Suse and Windows 2003), WAS administration
testcase design and development, test execution
CMVC, project management
Good knowledge and experiences on speech recognition
Open, self-motivated and good teamwork spirit
Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English
Bachelor or MS in Computer Science or related.
