Siemens, a well-known Fortune 500 company and world leader is seeking talented candidates for intellectual Property professional.


Position Specifications
Functional title - Patent professional
Location - Beijing, China
Report to - Senior IP counsel in Beijing

Working with Intellectual Property (IP) – Patents – Department of Siemens Ltd., China, this professional / candidate will support the expanding R&D operations in China and will provide IP service (especially patent service) to the worldwide business. The work expectation includes counseling and services such as patent application drafting and patent prosecution, basic agreements, support for IP enforcement matters, patent search, trainning for internal personnel on IP / patent matters.


Main Responsibilities

- This person will focus on technology related Patent matters and will be responsible for technology areas which corresponds to a business unit of the company;
- This person will need to eventually handle all patent issues arising related to the technology areas after training on job.


Language Requirements
- Excellent expression in Chinese
- High level written and spoken English skills are a must-have
- German language as a plus would be prioritized


Specific Requirements
- Candidates should have at least Master degree in Industry Automation or electric motor design or medical image field is a must;
- Short working experience in research and development is a plus ;
- Awareness of patent doc structure, basic legal knowledge are all advantageous skills;
- The candidate should have strong ability in analysis, capabilities of thinking logically and be a good communicator.
- The position will require flexibility, agility and the ability to create good working relationships with local and global colleagues.
