Analog Design Engineer Core

 

Job Description:

--- Silicon Image is a world class Serdes IC design house.

--- Shanghai site is mainly working on HDMI, AVI and SATA products.

--- Core Design Engineer is in charge of design new analog/mixed cores/modules in next two to three years.

--- Also the candidates may provide IPs to customers.

--- The Designers have opportunities to design high performance PLL, TX/RX, ADC/DAC, filter, I/O and other innovative modules even some digital blocks.

--- Team members will participate in architecture, circuit implementation, design review, layout, and silicon validation.

--- He/She has a lot of opportunities to submit patents and papers.

 Job Requirements

--- MSEE with circuit research experience or 1 year working (include intern) experience;

--- Ph.D. with circuit research in CMOS analog design and implementation;

--- Familiar with hspice like simulators, cadence composer like entry tools;

--- Solid knowledge on semiconductor and devices;

--- Good communication in both written and spoken English;

--- Knowledge in signal processing and communication theories is a plus;

--- Good programming skills in either C shell/perl/python/tcl are preferred;

Qualified candidates must have experience in one or more area of design high performance circuits in the following

--- High performance CMOS analog design experience in Serdes;

--- Design experience in high performance ADC/DAC such as Pipe Line, Sigma-Delta, SAR, etc;

--- Design experience in filters, including CT/DT filters using Gm/OP/MOS-Capacitor or Switch Capacitor circuit;

--- Design experience in timing circuits such as PLL;

--- Design experience in other analog functions is a plus, such as bandgap, regulator, crystal oscillator, I/O, etc.

 

Analog Design Engineer Product

Job Description:

--- Silicon Image is a world class Serdes IC design house. Product Designers are more focus on input processor, port processor and SATA product development. Designers have opportunities to submit patents and papers, and design top level HDMI and AVI, high performance ADC/DAC, filter, BGR, I/O/, PLL, TX/RX etc. Team members participate in circuit architecture, circuit implementation, design review, layout, and silicon validation.

Job Requirements

Digital Design Engineer

Job Description:

Design and verification for high speed serial video transmission ICs and high performance storage ICs

Module level Micro-architecture, RTL Coding, Synthesis and timing closure

Top level integration, including clock/reset implementation, Synthesis and timing closure

Module level and full chip verification, bench creation

FPGA porting, validation

 

Job Requirements

--- Master or PhD degree in EE

--- 1 or more years experience in digital IC design and verification

--- Familiar with Verilog, SystemVerilog, Specman, C/C++ language, Skill in Perl, Shell script

--- Good knowledge of IC design methodology and SOC architecture

--- Familiar with CAD tools, simulation/verification, formal verification, synthesis, static timing analysis

--- A plus to have DFT experience, backend knowledge

--- Good command of listening, writing and speaking English

--- Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the flexibility

--- Good team player

 

Software Engineer

Job Description:

This job covers software development/support for SIMG products, such as storage/HDMI chips.

The work includes GUI, SDK, Windows/Linux/Mac driver, firmware and BIOS development.

 

Job Requirements

--- Bachelor/Master degree in CS/EE

--- 1 or more years working experience is preferred

--- Familiar with C/C++, Java, assemble language

--- Experience in GUI, SDK, driver development on Windows & Linux, experience on Mac is a plus

--- Experience in embedded system development

--- Knowledge on storage controller/processor

--- Knowledge on HDMI and Digital Home Network is a plus

--- Good writing & speaking skills in English

--- Self-motivated, quick-learner, team player

 

System Engineer

Job Description:

The job includes but not limited to:

--- Schematic/Board design for FPGA application and demo system.

--- FPGA system setup and debug.

--- Working with digital designers for FPGA design/debug  and system validation.

--- Working together with headquarter teams and other local teams for different projects.

 

Job Requirements

--- MS major in electronics engineering or related.

--- With strong reading and writing ability in English;  fluent spoken English ability is preferable.

--- With Schematics/PCB Design experience.

--- With FPGA design/debug experience over one year, familiar with FPGA design/debug, familiar with RTL coding is preferable, familiar with MCU or ARM is preferable.

--- Active, with strong teamwork spirit.
