Job Description:

Responsible for SW design, implementation, testing and maintenance in certain technical domain of one of NSN product creation project in NSN WCDMA platform, RNC, BTS, WiMAX applications, BSC or MSS

Consults, supports and guides own teams external interface

Contributes to inspection/review of interfacing modules

Contributes in specification reviews

Requirement:

M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.

Passionate in Programming and Testing

Strong team player and quick learner

Experienced in embedded SW programming with C, Linux development, TI TMS320 64x DSP experience is a plus

Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

1-3 years R&D experience in telecommunication industry is an advantage

Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/WiMAX is a plus

 

2. System Testing Engineer/Specialist

Job Description:

-Responsible for SW testing planning, execution and reporting in certain technical domain integration and verification for RNC, BTS, BSC, MSS, WiMAX applications and platforms.

-Responsible for building up test environment, test tool maintenance and test automation development.

Requirement:

-Knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/WiMAX network.

-M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.

-Enjoy team work and open communication.

-Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

-1-3 year’s similar testing background is an advantage.

 

3. UI SW test engineer

Requirements:

-Windows SW testing skills.

-Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English skills.

4. LTE-DSP-SW-Engineer/Specialist

Job Description:

-Responsible for LTE/TDD DSP SW architecture definition, specification, design, implementation, testing and maintenance

-Develop the LTE/TDD eNB (BTS) DSP SW base on the TI 64+ DSP, including the Channel Codec, UL receiver and L2 scheduler

-Contribute to inspection/review of specification, design and interface

-Follow NSN BTS SW develop process. Deliver the LTE/TDD DSP SW predictably with high quality

 

Requirement:

-M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

-Basic knowledge on 3GPP standard, algorithms design and implementation.

-A good understanding of Digital Signal Processors and Digital Signal Processing.

-Experience in embedded software, Esp. in telecommunication equipment.

-Strong C programming skill and RTOS knowledge.

-Strong team player, self-motivated, target driven and innovative thinking.

-Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin

-2+ Years of working experience in DSP or Communication fields are preferred

5. DSP SCT engineer

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for DSP SW functional testing and software integration testing.

Support test tools and automation development

Some communication and technology transfer of DSP SW testing between Finland and China.

Requirements:

-M.Sc. or B.Sc.education in software or computer science.

-The ability to gather information needed for test case planning and testing.

-Knowledge of software development process and embedded systems is an advantage.

-Good written and spoken English.

-Prior WCDMA Network knowledge is preferred.

 

6.Java SW engineer

Requirements

- Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English skills

9. Specialist for LTE-TDD User Plane

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Analysis and design of new features and feature improvements for the User Plane of the Radio Network Layer for the LTE-TDD radio access technology. The work concentrates on functionality which is TDD-specific like L2 Scheduling and link adaptation (and differs from respective functionality of LTE-FDD). The scope includes the definition of requirements on system level as well as the functional specification of system features.

The key responsibilities are:

- Analysis of customer feature requirements

- Provisioning of feasibility studies

- Specification of concepts and system features

- Definition of algorithms

- Support for feature verification, feature offering, and customer application

- Support for the creation of customer documentation

Requirements: - Master or Bachelor of science in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent

10. Senior Specialist, Telecom Control Plane for LTE-TDD

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Analysis and specification of system level requirements for LTE-TDD-specific features and feature improvements in the Control Plane of the Radio Network Layer of the LTE-TDD Radio Access Network.

This includes analysis of Control plane protocols of LTE radio access network at terrestrial interfaces (S1, X2) and radio interface to specify additions for LTE-TDD-specific features while preserving the harmonization with LTE-FDD procedures & protocols. Further, tight co-operation with other specification teams in different locations for specification of functional dependencies. As result the formal specification of system features as well as the definition of requirements on system level and partly on network element level for the development and implementation process.

The key responsibilities are:

- Analysis of standardisation documents and reports (both 3GPP and TD-SCDMA)

- Analysis of customer feature requirements

- Specification of concepts and system features

- Interaction with NSN standardisation, product management and network entity development teams

- Support for features during LTE system verification, offering and customer application

- Contribution to simulation and performance evaluation of concepts

Requirements: - Master or Bachelor of science in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent area

- Minimum 3 years experience in mobile network standardisation, system engineering, development, system verification or network engineering in international development environment

- Good knowledge of mobile network technologies, radio system architectures, functions and standards, especially in the area of TDD- and TD-SCDMA-based radio access systems.

- Good knowledge of 3GPP Control Plane protocols and functions, especially with respect to interworking to other radio access technologies (especially to TD-SCDMA).

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Analysis and definition of system level requirements for the radio access technology LTE TDD, especially in the area radio resource management including system level and performance simulations.

The key responsibilities are:

- Analysis of standardization documents and reports

- Provisioning of feasibility studies in the field of radio resource management

- Specification of concepts and system features

- Specification of LTE TDD RRM Algorithms incl. control and O&M parameters

- Definition of system level simulator requirements for the LTE product SL simulator MoRSE

- Implementation and Verification of LTE TDD Features in MoRSE

- Definition, execution and evaluation of simulation campaigns for the determination of system level performance for the entire LTE TDD system and specific RRM features

Requirements: - Minimum 3 years experience in mobile network product system engineering, development,

system test or network engineering

- Good knowledge within mobile network technologies, radio system architecture and functions

- Knowledge of RRM concepts and System Level Simulations in one of the radio access

technologies GSM, WCDMA, WiMAX or LTE

- Excellent Programming Skills in C/C++

- Knowledge of the radio interface of LTE FDD/TDD is desired

System Architecture for Radio Resource Management and Simulations is responsible for the RRM concepts, simulator development, simulations and performance evaluation. This covers the design and optimization of RRM algorithms, their control and O&M parameters, etc

12. Hardware related software Engineer

- Main responsibility is embedded SW development that covers BSP module, HMS node SW, bootloader,
operating system, HW device-dirver, and HW-test SW(diagnose SW, testing tool, debugging tool).
- Test SW part during HW plug-in unit test phase
- Support HW development and debugging.
- Support DSP service
- Communication and co-operation work between Hangzhou and other sites.

Requirement:
- At least 2 years work experience in one or more area: HW BSP development, boot SW, device driver development, embeded OS development, HW-test SW or debugging tool development.

- Strong C programming skill
- Be familiar with embeded OS. Chorus OS experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of MPC8650 Power QUICC III architecture is a plus.
- Be familiar with SW development environment: Unix/Linux is a plus

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities: Program Manager for LTE TDD development covers the whole product process,
starting with concept definition phase to first trial deployment and also commercial product
Program manager scope is program planning & controlling of effort, time schedule, quality targets, define resources for the product program, change management and risk management. Program Manager is also part of the System program management team.
Requirements: * Capability to direct and lead Product Program of complex system in multisite environment.
