Fab68 Manufacturing Remote Operations Center Technician
Intel’s Remote Operations Center technicians not only perform factory operations, they are role models—sharing expertise as they train, coach, and mentor their peer technicians. Technicians are involved in the creation of state-of-the-art technical performance tools, and are at the heart of Intel’s mission to build the world’s best processors. They manufacture microprocessors, network processors, and memory components that power the majority of computers sold today. Technicians accomplish their work in one of our 15 fabrication facilities worldwide, using the most advanced manufacturing processes, including 300MM wafer technology.
Responsibilities:
¨ Run the day-to-day operation of the factory through the use of computer based interface.
¨ Train, coach, and mentor peer technicians.
¨ Perform tasks requiring an extremely high level of technical competence, and those requiring skills developed through experience and solid theoretical understanding.
¨ Effective communication skills, especially regarding tactical communication and negotiation.
Qualifications:
¨ Diploma is preferred, including Y08/09 graduates. Good English skills and computer skills are the most important factors for this position.
¨ English language skills are required – proficient with reading and writing is the minimum. The ideal candidate has strong verbal ability. CET 3 or better is highly desired.
¨ Excellent verbal and/or written communication skills.
¨ Demonstrated computer proficiency, experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint desired). Basic math skills are a plus.
¨ Capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic environment.
¨ Ability to rapidly adapt to changes in schedules and environment.

Technicians are involved in the creation of state-of-the-art technical performance tools, and are at the heart of Intel’s mission to build the world’s best processors. They manufacture microprocessors, network processors, and memory components that power the majority of computers sold today. Technicians accomplish their work in one of our 15 fabrication facilities worldwide, using the most advanced manufacturing processes, including 300MM wafer and 65-nanometer technology.
Responsibilities/What you’ll do:
¨ Perform and role model precision maintenance – preventative and corrective.
¨ Ensure that maintenance is performed the right way and the same way every time
¨ Train, coach, and mentor peer technicians
¨ Perform tasks requiring an extremely high level of technical competence, and those requiring skills developed through experience and solid theoretical understanding
Qualifications/What you bring:
¨ You must have 2+ years work experience in equipment maintenance or other related position, or you are the graduates from Y08/09.
¨ An equipment technician must demonstrate competency in the following areas:
¨ Knowledge of safety hazards
¨ Knowledge of maintenance content
¨ Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting (electrical, robotic, pneumatic, mechanical, optical, control systems, etc.)
¨ Knowledge of equipment/process interactions
¨ Knowledge of automation applications (RCTs, station controllers, tool controllers)

Fab68 Emergency Response Technician
Responsibilities and Details
The F68 Emergency Response Technician is a dedicated position that is full time safety and is expected to ensure the safety of personnel and take necessary measures to protect the environment of the local community, and Intels assets. In this position, you will be responsible for performing a set of diversified technical duties including safety communications, reinforcing Living in an Injury-Free Environment, and working closely with all departments within F68 on incident prevention and investigation. When not responding to ERT events, daily duties include roving the factory (Fab, Sub-Fab, Basement, Fan Attic, and Roof/Penthouse and Entire F68 site), involvement in preventive safety programs such as Safety and ERT training, safety advisor during the planning of various projects, shift safety presentations, preventive maintenance/upgrading of ERT equipment and supplies, and ensuring the readiness of the shifts emergency response team. You will be expected to take ownership for safety, be a role model of safety, and ensure safe practices at all times. You will effectively role model, lead or mentor applicable teams to produce high-quality results in order to meet the safety goals of the area/organization. You will be accountable for maintaining customer relations with Manufacturing, Site Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and other F68 FSM customers as appropriate.
Qualifications
¨ Diploma is preferred, including Y08/09 graduates. Good English skills and safety mindset are the most important factor for this position.
¨ Strong verbal/written communications skills in English along with demonstrated organizational and leadership skills working in a highly matrix environment
Ability to pass medical monitoring by Intel OH or an equivalent job for Manufacturing MT will be offered. This job is a permanent job located in Dalian, China and is only open to Chinese Nationals.
¨ Working knowledge of the ERT Incident and Command Structure
