Job Description
UMGs Business Planning, Architecture and Software organization is looking for a highly motivated and skillful software engineer intern to join our engineering team working on

UMGs next generation MID (Mobile Internet Device) platform.

In this position, you will be joining a growing, nimble software engineering team within the UMG UPAS Software organization. You will be involved in testing Intel Ultra Mobile

platform SW and value-add technologies as core elements of UMG products. You will work on Linux SW validation, test tool developing and defect debugging.

Qualifications
- Master or Ph.D candidates, major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering are preferred
- Linux software development background with C/C++ programming experience; SW testing experience
- Good understanding of IA architecture and Linux operating systems
- Team player and good communication skills
- Knowledge of SW developing/testing process
- 4 days per week and continuous >6 months working time
- Each of below items is a plus
- Knowledge of NAND-flash/SD/MMC/SDIO/CE-ATA
- V4L2 related s/w developing or testing experience
- familiar with Linux community working style and tools such as bugzilla, mailing list communication, git/cvs/svn, etc.
- addict on open source technology especially Linux kernel, Xwindow or others
