This is a position in the Data Warehouse Team of eBay China Development Center as a Data Warehouse BSA(business system analyst) intern (focus on business data analysis and documentation). This position will be responsible for project related data analysis and documentation work within eBay data warehouse environment.


Job description:

Understand business logic, get familiar with reporting system/tools.

Diagnose data quality issues occurring in eBay reporting system through Teradata SQL tool.

Work out the solution for ad-hoc business questions through support from employee.

Take meeting notes and prepare necessary project documentation.



Requirements:

Students who will graduate on the year of 2010, master is preferred.

A good understanding of data warehousing concept/tools.

Have database technical experience and strong SQL skill.

Be able to communicate frequently in English.

自2004年7月创立以来，eBay中国研发中心已从40多人发展到现在的近400人，未来几年eBay还会继续加大对中国研发中心的投入，将其打造成为世界顶级研发中心。研发中心的员工中有40%的硕士和博士，18%为海归人员，80%来自前20名的大学。研发中心为员工提供良好的学习机会，以及赴海外工作、培训的机会。在现有人员中，25%曾被派去硅谷培训、工作。基于eBay中国研发中心的成功尝试，eBay总部计划加强中国研发中心的进一步发展。
