Main responsibilities:
1.Perform day-to-day purchasing transactions according to defined guidelines including appropriate documentation and file management.

2.Work with internal customers, such as Admin, IT, Finance, HR, PR, Sales and Marketing, to ensure an on-time, cost effective and efficient delivery in required quality and quantity for items in compliance with purchasing procedure and internal policy.
3.In area of responsibility, establish relationships with suppliers, developing supplier base and achieving year-over-year cost saving target. Locate, analyze and develop a consolidate supplier base to meet current and future needs.

4.Focusing on the carbon and graphite industry and related industries, collect and analyze market information and reports to support SGL group mission.
5.Coordinate with All Legal Entities to collect purchasing data. Analyze and summarize the data in monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
6.Assist Purchasing Manager to coordinate with functional departments to organize supplier biding and to evaluate purchasing activities annually

Requirement:
1.Bachelor or above with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or business trading.
2.At least 2-year-experience in purchasing, global sourcing or related field.
3.Good English speaking and writing skills , German Language is nice to have but not required.
4.Good computer skills, esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Familiar with software such as AutoCAD...
5.Hard working & strong team spirit.
6.Excellent communication skill and personal skill.
7.Able to work under pressure.
8.Occasional traveling needed
