Job Title: PHP Programmer - Expert Level with fluent English written and spoken.

 

 

Job Description: This is a job which requires an elite/excellent PHP programmer as it involves the initial technical planning and setting up as well as the structural building works of a top-end social networking Web 2.0 Site in cooperation with and under the supervision of a UK programmer.

 

Requirements: We are looking for someone highly professional and independent with 3+ years of experience as an elite PHP programmer with all the relevant skills including an expert knowledge of PHP and LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP).

 

 

The job requires excellent web server knowledge and a good understanding of communication technologies such as TCP/IP, Proxies, FTP, Shell etc. Also a very good understanding of databases is needed as many programming tasks require making use of different types of database such as SQL, MySQL etc.

 

Additional knowledge of programming in other languages such as CGI / PERL, ASP, MIVA, COLDFUSION, etc would be an advantage.
