Automotive Sourcing Assistant

ABC Shanghai is the leading Austrian Automotive Engineering and Consulting Service provider in Shanghai. Since 2005, we have been working for OEM such as BYD, European automotive Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers and the largest Austrian car importer, Wolfgang Denzel Group.

As full-range automotive service partner, ABC works for its clients in the following fields: supplier management & parts/machine tools sourcing, Chinese market business intelligence (e.g. EV maker, supply chain analyses) as well as as sales representative for our overseas customers.

As our client base is prospering in line with the Chinese automotive industry – even in the challenging year 2008 - we are seeking for a sourcing assistant to join our Shanghai team at Jintiandi International Mansion (18/F, 988 Ren Min Lu).

University graduates as well as first-time job seekers with an automotive background and some knowlege in QM, ISO9001, IS/TS 16949 and PPAP are also encouraged to apply for this vacant position.

Job duties:

•        Familiar with IS9001 and IS/TS16949 QM system,
•        Basic understanding of APQP, PPAP packages
•        Carry out value analysis and run price benchmarkings
•        Support technical communication of Chinese suppliers
•        Basic Knowledge of CATIA & Pro/E or ACAD,
•        Able to handle RFI, RFQ and PO independently

Qualifications:

•        Professional automotive communication skills and sourcing experience,
•        BSc Bachelor degree or above, majoring in automotive/engineering,
•        Fluent in oral and written English, at least passed CET4,
•        Any other Asian language or German is an advantage,
•        Experienced MS-Office Word and Excel user.

•        Show strong interests to develop consulting skills,
•        Integrity, initiative and hard-working attitude.
