Job Description:

The Test Engineer Intern executes test plans for multiple functional areas in PTC's Windchill and FlexPLM solution suite. The intern will participate in the testing process through test case writing/execution and certification of software and follow established software quality assurance practices. The position offers the candidate an excellent opportunity to gain a good understanding of the typical software development life cycle (SDLC) from initial development through release to production.
The Intern candidate will perform a variety of quality assurance tasks for an enterprise software application, including some or all of the following:
* Develop test cases and test plans and execute tests
* Install and configures software products on various platforms
* Take ownership for performing software testing of a given functional area
* Develop and maintain test automation
* Report software defects and track quality assurance metrics such as defect counts, test coverage
* Communicate status effectively to management

Requirements:
Current undergraduate college student working towards an Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science degree.
Recent college graduates or students in Masters Degree Program will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.

- Demonstrated ability to complete assignments with high quality and on time.
- Methodical approach to task execution with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Strong English written and spoken communication skills.
- Familiarity with software engineering concepts, practices, and procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency with Windows or Unix (Solaris, HP, etc.) operating systems is desirable.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies
