Objectives
- To assist in managing the masses of invoices/tax receipts/tax reports as the NSC start to sale vehicles
- To assist in document filing and maintenance according to the tax authority's criterion
- To assist in preparation the documents as required by the authorities.
- To streamline and eliminate Finance/Facilities administration as much as possible
- To further develop the knowledge and skills of the team members within the Finance function.
Intern Roles and Responsibilities
Invoice management
Develop awareness of and support Finance professionals in the invoice management. Including:
- Maintain the database of the dealers' VAT invoice information.
- Check Ledger report provided by Unipart, including all delivery record and documentations.
- Sort VAT invoices and maintain tax reports.
- Deliver VAT invoices to dealers and trace receipts.
Filing/ Reconciliation
Develop awareness of and support Finance professionals in the Filing/ Reconciliation. Including:
- Manage/file tax receipts and input into system.
- Maintain and file documents as per the authority's criteria.
- Assist in calculating and filing stamp duty.
Documentation
Develop awareness of and support Finance professionals in documentation. Including:
- Assist in documentation required by tax inquiries/audits.
- Assist in documentation required by special tax-related studies.
- Assist in documentation for favorable tax policies and local tax refund.
- Assist in preparation of statistic reports.
Administrative support
- Assist in annual joint inspection.
- Other ad-hoc projects.
Business Acumen
Gain understanding and appreciation of working for a multi international company and it's various operational parts.
Performance Assessment
- Intern will work to an action task list developed by Renee Yang
- Log book completed by the intern tracking completion of tasks, developmental activities and learnings.
- Delivery of tasks by the intern, assessed weekly through 1:1 with Supervisor
- Feedback from intern through attendance at training and development activities
- Feedback from colleagues and peers.
