    Job Description:
   
    Security Data Analyst is responsible for classifying mail samples for our multi-lingual state-of-the-art research database. This talented individual must be detail-oriented, responsible and dependable as they will be counted on to make accurate decisions on the determination of legitimate and illegitimate email. The ideal candidate will possess a background in the email industry and have a passion for decreasing the amount of spam that consumers and businesses receive.
   
   
   
    Responsibilities:
   
    1) Assist with building and maintaining an effective multi-lingual state-of-the-art research database. This will include:
    a. Classification of existing and incoming data
    b. Assisting with the addition of new data sources
    c. Maintaining and scrubbing data sources to ensure integrity
    2) Contribute to the establishment of operational and quality classification procedures and execute on established procedures
    3) Write and publish Level 1 rules using provided tools
    4) Review reports generated on weekly progress and suggest operational changes to improve efficacy and throughput
    5) Give consistent feedback on improving the tools used to classify data for the research database
    6) Report bugs and anomalies encountered in the tools
    7) Ability to work with cross functional teams
    8) Special projects and other duties as assigned
    9) Be able to work night shift
   
   
   
    Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:
   
    1) Fluent in both verbal and written communications in English and one or more of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Arabian, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, any other Southeastern Asian and Nordic language.
    2) Ability to clearly follow processes and procedures
    3) Ability to make decisions using critical reasoning
    4) Ability to perform repetitive work
    5) Extremely strong analytical skills with an uncanny ability to detect patterns and analyze disparate data
    6) Knowledge of spam, virus and phishing techniques desired
    7) Strong email knowledge (administration, RFCS, reading email headers and understanding SMTP) is a prefer.
    8) Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    9) Strong analytical and organizational skills
