Responsibilities
1) conduct research and development tasks within the area of enzyme applications for the food industries;
2) work both under the guidance from scientists or department manager in technically diverse and sophisticated assignments and independently in routine assignments;
3) provide training to lab assistants or students when relevant;
4) coordinate with other members of the project team and department colleagues to accomplish common goals;
5) participate in external experiment and discussions to ensure delivery of project milestones and targets.
Qualifications
Education/experience
-B.S. with 2-6 years proven experience and proficient performance;
- M.S. with 0-3 years proven experience and proficient performance.
Background and training:
Candidates should have demonstrated background and practical skills within one or more of the following disciplines: analytical chemistry, biochemistry, plantbiology, biomedical engineering, food and nutrition and mechanical engineering. Preferably knowledge and working experience in the rice industry.
Language skills:
Sufficient English skills both written and spoken.
