Overall Purpose of Job:
CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) is a part of cross function team - CAE/NVH. The prime role of the CAE Engineer is to analyze the parts design and packaging design, as well as to optimize the design.
Major Responsibilities:
To identify the CAE need from diverse product lines.
To develop the CAE methodologies for diverse products.
To develop the CAE capability.
To analyze part / packaging design, using CAE software to mesh models, apply load, calculate model, etc.
To summarize the analyzing result in report and aid the design engineer in optimizing the design.
To take engineering design work, if required.
Key Competencies:
Good knowledge of FEA theory and good experience of meshing models. Experience on NVH simulation will be a big plus.
Familiar with Nastran and Hypermesh. Experience with CATIA V4 or V5 will be a plus.
Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Familiar with MS-Office.
Good presentation skills.
Preferred to have dynamics education background.
Preferred to have product knowledge of Braking and Steering system.
Preferred to have working experience in an automotive company.
Education and Experience:
Educational: Mechanical or automotive engineering Bachelor degree or above. Education background on NVH will be preferred.
Experience: Willing to learn; good interpersonal and communication skills.
