Job Title: Research Associate

Reports To: Research Manager

Working Relationships:

You will work closely with individuals across the organisation but particularl
y within the operations team spread across Shanghai and London. Externally you
will deal with high level professionals with expert knowledge and experience
in their field.

As you progress in your role， your exposure to clients, which include sophist
icated financial investors, will increase.

Purpose: To facilitate consultations between industry specialists and our clie
nts (Private Equity Companies, Hedge Funds and Management Consultancies) in or
der to help them make insightful investment decisions.

Responsibilities & Duties:

·     To use internal and external tools to source industry specialists

·     To identify new sources of specialists wherever possible

·     To recruit specialists to our specialist network

·     To facilitate consultations

·     To build relationship with your internal clients particularly within th
e operations team

·     To build relationships with clients and deliver consistently good servi
ce

·     To carry out post -consultation and post -project calls to gather feedb
ack on the projects you are managing

·     To work within a cross-offices team to ensure projects are completed su
ccessfully and within the required timescales

·     To generate effective work plans for projects and execute appropriately

·     To continuously review processes and make suggestions for improvements
where necessary

·     To develop knowledge and understanding of the various industries on whi
ch our clients focus in order to provide an improved service

·     To attend client meetings or events as necessary

Essential Criteria:

·     Fluency in English and Mandarin， Chinese nationality is preferred.

·     Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationship

·     Demonstrated ability to carry out research and take a focused and logic
al approach to project work.

·      IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office

·     Good educational background

·     Diligent, proactive, well organised approach

·     Team player

·     Willing to work in a busy environment which is, at times, high pressure

·     Flexible, motivated and willing to ‘go the extra mile'

Desired Criteria:

·     Fluency in another Asian language

·     Two or three years working experience in a marketing research firm is a
plus.

Special Factors:

·     This is an office based role

·     Standard working hours are 9am-6pm but work outside of these hours may
be required in order to complete projects.
