Responsibilities
When semi vendor releases a memory product, Data I/O should develop algorithm
and adapter to allow that device can be programmed on our programmer.  We now
invite this person to help us develop the algorithm.
• Analyze programming device support requirements and estimate developme
nt effort.
• Develop algorithm software & adapter hardware for Data I/O's programm
er platforms.
• Write document for the algorithm.
• Test and release algorithms & adapters developed above.
• Write user manual and SOP to help customer implement the algorithm.
• Ensure conformance to delivery, cost, quality, and overall customer sa
tisfaction targets.
• Propose development platform and process improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
• BSEE or BSCS with emphasis on software, but familiar with electronics
hardware.
• Knowledgeable in standard software engineering development practices.
• 2+ years' software development experience using C++.
• 1+ years' experience in PCB layout using standard EDA software (e.g.,
PowerPCB) is preferred.
• Embedded-systems development experience.
• Familiar with use of oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to communicate well in spoken and written English.
• Able to manage multiple, short cycle projects.

• Familiar with non-volatile memory technology.
