 Engineer (Transport 7100 System)

Job Description:

Engineer working closely with SE team members in Shanghai and Naperville.

-          Defining interface and behaviors requirements for new 7100/7300 features.

-          Working with Shanghai development and validation organizations to resolve technical issues and provide requirements interpretation. 

Development the infrastructure for managing the system requirements.

Requirements:

Experience Required

-          1 years telecom experience Students who will graduate in 2011 with major in Electronics, Communication Engineering or Computer Science would be preferred

Experience / Knowledge Desired

-          SDH/SONET

-          DWDM

-          Control Plane (M/R/STP, MRP, etc)

-          L2/Packet (802.3/802.1Q/802.1ad/802.1ah/802.1Qay/802.1ak/MEF)

-          CLI (Command Line Interface)

-          SNMP MIB Development, VOB Management

Skills Required

-          Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written English).

Capability to work at different levels of abstractions.
(network/application, NE, HW, SW, FW, EMS, NMS)

Software Engineer (MSO China)

Job Description:

-         Minimum 1 year software development experience on relevant areas using object oriented methodology

-         Requirements analysis and breakdown to high level designs,

-         Writing detailed design documentation

-         Developing designs and coding for Java/C application for the Tellabs 719x network management systems

Requirements:

-         Students who will graduate in 2011 with major in Electronics, Communication Engineering or Computer Science would be preferred

-         Must have BSEE/BSCE and more than 1 year C /Java programming and Oracle experience

-         Experience in object oriented design methodology with STL, UML/Rational Rose a plus

-         Telecom industrial background is required

-         Experience with TL1 and/or SNMP protocols is preferred

-         Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
