Job Introduction:

1. Manufacturing &Engineering Development Program Overview:

In addition to using most effective technologies, implementing global business expansion and development, providing technical services, and improving process performance, you will have opportunities to work with – and learn from – senior Dow mentors and leaders.

Opportunities exist in Maintenance, Plant Operation, Project Management, Project Implementation, Environment Health and Safety, among other disciplines.

The Manufacturing & Engineering Development Program (MEDP) is one of the opportunities existing in Dow M&E.  Positions like Production Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical and Instrument Engineer, Reliability Engineer, EH&S Engineer, Project Engineer, can be offered which enable you to work on a broad base of technologies and get exposed to different operating environments.

2. Electrical and Instrument Engineer’s Responsibilities are: 

·         Be familiar with Global Project Methodology .

·         Perform layout, calculations and other design activities in order to produce information, specifications, and documentation for the construction and maintenance of process, electrical and instrument systems.

·         Check the accuracy, completeness and quality of any aspect of electrical and instrument systems on the project

·         Participate in the layout of the plant and equipment taking into account process considerations, constructability, operability and maintainability of the facilities

·         Prepare electrical and instrument material specifications for inquiry and order, prepare transmittals, evaluate bids

·         Ensure that environmental, Safety are used in the design

·         Ensure that design complies with applicable industry codes, standards, Dow’s Most Effective Technology and Dow Global practices and specifications

·         Participation in cross functional improvement project, prepare detailed electrical and instrument engineering for new factory projects by using company best practice and GB standard.

·         Support company global electrical and instrument technology center to develop and maintenance technical standard

3. Process Automation Engineer’s Responsibilities are:

·         Assist in the development of Process Control Strategy Descriptions (PCSD’s) by applying plant knowledge and experience

·         Develop process control code and operator interface graphics to meet design criteria defined in PCSD layers 2 -3, utilizing the process control discipline section, SPP/GPM work processes and approved process control tools

·         Leverage and apply best practices from the project team and the process control engineering function

·         Ensure the delivered product is user friendly and meets the stakeholders’ needs

·         Ensure PCSD’s and code documentation is updated when changes occur

·         Ensure appropriate reviews are completed on assigned work

·         Perform necessary changes/improvements to process control code and/or operator interface as a result of start up efforts, utilizing global MOC process

·         Perform initial controller tuning during initial start up of equipment

We are looking for recent graduates with:

Major in Chemical Engineering, Process Equipment and Control Engineering, Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Instrument Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Automation or other related Engineering Disciplines

2、电气仪表工程师的职责是：

·         熟悉和使用陶氏全球项目执行方法

·         执行电气仪表计算，平面布置设计，电气仪表设备选型以及其它相关的电气仪表设计，确保这些信息能够有效的运用在后续的施工和维修中

·         对项目中电气仪表系统的设计质量，设计完整性，以及设计精度进行检查

·         参与到工厂平面设计和设备平面布置设计，在设计中需要考虑工艺的要求同时也要考虑设计的可施工性，可操作性，以及可维护性这些方面的要求

·         为电气仪表设备的询价和购买准备技术标准，并参与到设备选型技术评估

·         在电气仪表设计中体现出对环境的保护，以及考虑人员和设备的安全运行

·         确保电气仪表设计符合中国的设计标准规范以及陶氏内部的设计规范和技术要求

·         参与到生产优化项目中,提供专业意见, 根据公司设计要求和国家规范为新工厂进行电气仪表设计

·         参与到全球电气仪表技术中心电气仪表技术的改进和维护

3、工艺自动化工程师的工作职责是：

·         能够协助编写PCSD文件，并满足工厂工艺控制的要求

·         能够编写工艺控制程序文件，操作员控制画面

·         通过向项目组其他同事学习，将最优设计提供到项目

·         能够确保开发的成品用户界面友好并达到既定需求

·         按时记录所有发生在PCSD和程序文件上面的改动

·         能够在完成指派给自己的工作时，事先做好相应复查

·         在经过工厂开车，或是工厂MOC流程后，能够对程序及界面作出一定程度的改进

·         在设备开车时，能够对控制器做一定程度的微调来满足工艺控制
