主任助理:负责开展学术研究合作项目;要求硕士或以上学历,中英文流利;
研究助理:参与中心的学术研究,撰写研究论文和报告,编写中心《年鉴》及其它出版物;要求硕士或以上学历;中英文流利。
行政助理:负责行政事务的管理和落实,负责账务会计管理,对外联络,负责与媒体沟通,管理媒体报道,组织中心活动;要求大学本科或以上学历,机智灵活,中英文流利。
项目经理:负责开发和管理有关学术或政策研究项目,组织协调专家,组织会议研讨,撰写研究项目报告;要求本科或以上学历;中英文流利。
IT管理员:负责为中心提供即时、优质的电脑、通信、网络沟通等IT技术服务;此项服务可以外包或兼职。
办公室助理:负责办公室接待、会议和日志记录、沟通联络、收发邮件,收集管理信息数据;要求安心踏实肯干,大专以上文化。
实习生:参与开发和管理中心的学术或政策研究项目,参与研究,参与撰写研究报告,参与组织会议研讨和校友活动,参与编写《哥伦比亚大学与中国》、《年鉴》等中心出版物;要求大学本科或以上学历,中英文流利。

Columbia Global Center for East Asia in Beijing
Columbia University in the City of New York is one of the most prestigious universities in the world with 79 alumni and faculty having won the Noble Prize. The University’s ties with modern China started in the 19th Century, when it was among the first American universities to admit Chinese students. In history, many Chinese who attended and graduated from Columbia became influential statesmen, scientists, philosophers, and educators in their later lives, such as Tang Shao-yi,. Hu Shih, Tao Xingzhi, etc. The Columbia Global Center for East Asia in Beijing (the Center), led by Professor XIAO Geng, serves as an on-the-ground platform for Columbia’s students, faculty, and alumni to interact with local academic, policy studies, and business communities. The Center would like to attract talents with competitive compensation and benefits, an open friendly working environment, and access to high-quality Chinese and foreign scholars and experts. The Center places importance on job candidates’ integrity, experience and communication capabilities. Specific requirements for each position are the following:
Assistant Director: responsible for developing and managing research programs; M.A. degree or above required; fluent in both Chinese and English
Research Assistant: assists in the center’s research work, drafting research papers and reports as well as other center publications; M.A. degree or above; fluent in both Chinese and English
Administrative Assistant: responsible for administrative management and accounting-related work; helps with organizing conferences and events; B.A./B.S. or above; fluent in both Chinese and English; resourceful and flexible candidates are preferred.
Program Manager: responsible for developing and managing research and policy study programs; responsible for organizing conferences and seminars; B.A./B.S. or above; fluent in both Chinese and English
IT Manager: responsible for computer, internet, website, and other IT related maintenance and services. This is a part-time position.
Office Assistant: responsible for greeting guests, picking up and delivering mails, preparing meetings and conference calls, drafting the Center’s activities log, filing documents, and managing center’s data bases; junior college or above; reliable and experienced candidates with elementary English reading and speaking capabilities are preferred.
Interns: participates in conference and alumni event organizing, drafting research reports and other center publications; B.A./B.S. or above, fluent in both Chinese and English
