Android Senior Developer - Kernel & Application.

We're currently building an Android development team and looking for 2 kind or profile: Android Kernel Senior Developer, Android Application Developer.

Each positions require a passion for entrepreneurship, a strong ability to problem solve, and a desire to learn new skills quickly and effectively.

We are looking for people with excellent technical skills and very good inter-personal skill, people who can fit in our team.

 

About us:

Famoco is a small international technology company specialized in developing products & services for Mobile Payment (let you pay taxi/subway with your phone, purchase something in a shop and pay with your phone, ...).  We work with big customer like China Mobile, Nokia, Taiwan Mobile, Borqs (播思), …

 

Our products are Android based device with multi-media capabilities, we also do mobile application working on various phones (Nokia, Sonyericson, HTC, oPhone, …). 

As a key member of the team, you'll be working into a startup environment with a multi-cultural team and will be using cutting edge technologies (Java virtual machine design, SIM card application, Web Server, payment system, ...).

Our office is conveniently located near public transportation (10mn walk from ChaoYanMen metro station), next to restaurant, shopping ...

You'll be responsible for:
Kernel Senior Developer:

Port and adapt Android to new Hardware platform feature

Design and develop new Android feature.

Work & cooperate with the Application development team to improve our platform.

Enhance kernel/application performance, usability, speed, memory use ...

 

Application Senior Developer:

Design and develop new Android feature / Application.

Work & cooperate with the Kernel development team & Smart Card team to improve our platform.

Enhance Application performance, usability, memory use and application size.

 

Required:

1. Ability to create excellent code - You must write correct, clean and efficient code that you are proud of. You must be able to learn any programming language.

2. Creative and analytical - You must be a great problem solver, with the ability to dive deeply into complex problems and emerge with clear and pragmatic solutions.

3. Passion - You must have passion for what you do. Involvement in Open Source projects or a portfolio of your hobby projects is a big plus.

4. 2 years of experience in software development.  Excellent command of C /Java.  Experience on Linux kernel, experience on Android technology is a good thing, but not required.

5. Excellent English:  You’ll be speaking, reading and writing English on daily basis.  Most of our customer are based abroad, communication will be in English.

6.Adaptability and team work: You'll be involved in every steps of the development process, design, coding, bug fix, user interface, ... we believe that the best way to learn and contribute.

7.Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science.

Excellent work ethic and attention to detail. Very organized. Fast learner.
