Position 1：VxWorks Development Engineer

Location: Beijing/Chengdu

Job Responsibilities:

Wind River Systems Beijing R&D Center is a great place to work on hardware bring up and software design. The Engineer is responsible for the designand development of device drivers, board support packages and the sustaining of board support packages on various CPU architectures.

Job Requirements:

1.Solid computer science knowledge

2.Solid C and assembly language program skills

3.Good understand to computer architecture and operating system ,such as scheduling, IO, memory management and various bus architectures

4.Able to work independently, and as a part of a distributed team

5.Good communication skills in both English and Chinese

6.BS CS/EE Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors

Desired:

1.Strong trouble shooting skills

2.Experience of low level device driver development and testing

3.Strong knowledge in embedded system programming, device driver and tool chain

4.Good experience on BSP, device drivers development for embedded systems

5.Familiar with VxWorks operating system

6.Familiar with normal architectures, like ARM, PPC, MIPS, IA

7.One or more device driver programming experience on: UART, Ethernet, PCI/PCIe

 

Position 2：VxWorks Test Engineer

Location: Beijing/Chengdu

Job Responsibilities:

Wind River Systems Beijing R&D Center has a great opportunity for VxWorks Test Engineer. The Test Engineer is responsible for the design, development and execution of the functional testing of one of the core products at Wind River: VxWorks. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in embedded real-time operating system. The selected candidate would become a key contributor in testing VxWorks. The candidate would also be involved in creating and maintaining automation test tools and developing test strategies. The candidate should be able to read design specifications and develop test code in Tcl, C and/or assembly language for the various components of the VxWorks OS. Test development should cover White-Box, Black-Box, performance and stress testing of the VxWorks operating system.

Job Requirements:

1.Solid computer science knowledge

2.Solid C programming skills in Unix environment or VxWorks platform

3.Familiar with script languages (Tcl and/or Shell)

4.Understanding of basic OS internals such as scheduling, IO, memory management and various bus architectures

5.Able to work independently, and as a part of a distributed team

6.Good communication skills in both English and Chinese

7.BS CS/EE Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors

Desired:

1.Strong trouble shooting skills and proficient in debugging techniques using both command line utilities such as GDB and visual debugging tools

2.Experience with test automation & testing development tools

3.Experience working with offshore test teams

4.Knowledge of Wind River customer applications

5.Familiarity with large scale, complex development processes

6.Knowledge of industry standard performance metrics for OS

 

Position 3： Linux Development Engineer

Location: Beijing

Job Responsibilities:

Wind River Beijing Linux team is responsible for the all development of Wind River Linux Platform product. The  developer in this team will be responsible for the bring-up of Linux Platform product on a new evaluation board from a semiconductor vendor by developing or porting of bootloader, device drivers.

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor degree (or above) of the computer science, electronics or other related majors

2.Good understand to the computer architecture and operating system

3.Good understand and experience to at least one kind of the popular embedded processors, e.g. PowerPC, ARM, MIPS, X86

4.Good understand and experience to at least one kind of the embedded operating system, e.g. VxWorks, Linux, Nucleus, and good understanding to the subsystems in an operating system, such as: memory management, process management and scheduler, IO subsystem and various bus specification

5Good skills of the C-language and assembly languages

6.Good team work capability, and be able work independently

7.Good reading & written skills for both English and Chinese

Desired:

1.Strong trouble shooting skills

2.Experience of low level device driver development and testing

3.Strong knowledge in embedded system programming, device driver and tool chain

4.Good experience on BSP, device drivers development for embedded systems

5.Familiar with VxWorks operating system

Position 4： Linux Test Engineer

Location: Beijing

The development engineer is responsible for the integration of open source community application packages into Wind River Linux Platform, and the development of patches to fix the bugs in these open source packages.

Responsibilities:

1.Work with team in site or overseas to do test case planning, development, and execution. Challenges will involve problem solving as daily basis to meet the dynamic business needs.

2.Test suite development and execution for Wind River Linux BSP, Multicore, Hypervisor virtualization environment among PPC/X86/MIPC/ARM architectures.

3.Keep improving the standard practices and procedures based on the software engineering lifecycle.

4.Integrate software engineering and quality assurance disciplines.

Job Requirements:

1.Linux customization knowledge on PPC, X86, MIPS or ARM is a plus.

2.Knowledge of LTP / Posix and other Linux test suite is desired.

3.Knowledge of various Linux boot loaders like: Uboot, Redboot, Yamon, PXE, or GPXE is a plus.

4.Knowledge of peripheral drivers like GPIO, SDIO, IPMI, Bluetooth, MTD, I2C, PCI/-X/-E, SPI, SRIO, RTC, USB, Audio, Video, or Graphics is a plus.

5.One or more skills of Unix Shell, TCL, Expect, Perl, Python, makefile is a plus.

6Passions on Embedded System.

Desired:

1.Bachelor or Master's degree in CS/EE or related area

2.Development experience in kernel is a big plus.

3.Strong C Programming experience and the knowledge of Operating Systems concepts.

4.Very good teamwork spirit.

 

Position 5： Intern

Location: Beijing/Chengdu

Job Responsibilities:

Wind River Systems China Development Center is a great place to work on RTOS/embedded Linux related development/testing. The Engineer is responsible for developing / testing embedded kernel and component.

Job Requirements:

1.Solid computer science knowledge.

2.Solid C and assembly language program skills.

3.Good understanding on computer architecture and operating system, such as scheduling, IO, memory management and various bus architectures.

4.Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.

5.BS CS/EE Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related majors.
