戈朗海工在其挪威的船厂共完成8条新建半潜平台的生产和32条半潜平台的改造升级。并为韩国船厂的10条钻井船提供上部钻井包的详细设计。为挪威和美国船东的17条FPSO船提供了上部模块的总包。
在多年的设计建造经验基础上，戈朗海工开发出有自主知识产权的FPSO船，4种半潜平台的设计。
为了开拓中国市场，戈朗海工于2008年1月在中国上海成立其亚洲的总部，目前拥有30名来自中国著名船厂和设计院的双语中国工程师。

As an engineering company, we offer engineering solutions & services for Offshore & Marine Industry.

Due to the rapid business development in China, now we are looking for the experienced professionals with the following qualifications to join us:

Engineers - Structural Design

We are seeking engineers with 3 years experience or above within at least one of the following fields:
"       Strength calculations of fixed and floating constructions
"       Design/modeling of structures in 2D and 3D
       
Requested qualifications:
"       Bachelor degree in offshore & marine engineering
"       Experience in structural design/ construction/ fabrication.
"       Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, and with a high degree of accuracy
"       Good analytical reasoning, theoretical approach, communication skills, and a good knowledge of the English language
"       Knowledge of computer software, such as Xsteel, SmartPlant 3D, AutoCad, Ansys, Sacs, Staad Pro
Main tasks:
"       Design/calculation of details on ships/offshore/subsea units
"       Preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings.
"       Participation in larger project organizations with responsibility for preparing drawings and design reports within the structural and marine technology disciplines
"       Follow-up & supervision on installation or fabrication at yard

Engineers - Structural & Marine Technology
Finite Element Analysis

We are seeking engineers with 3 years experience or above within at least one of the following fields:
"       Analysis of global stress distribution and displacement
"       Local stress analysis of yielding, buckling and fatigue
"       Mode analysis of local structures
"       Design/modeling of structures in 2D and 3D

Requested qualifications:
"       Bachelor degree in offshore & marine engineering
"       Experience in structural & Finite Element analysis / construction/ fabrication.
"       Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, and with a high degree of accuracy
"       Good analytical reasoning, theoretical approach, communication skills, and a good knowledge of the English language
"       Knowledge of computer software, such as Sesam, AutoCad, Ansys, Staad Pro, SolidWorks

Main tasks:
"       Design/calculation of details on ships/offshore/subsea units
"       Preparation of 3D models and 2D drawings.
"       Participation in larger project organizations with responsibility for preparing drawings and design reports within the structural and marine technology disciplines
