Intel DHG(Digital Home Group) is one of the fast-growing groups in Intel. Its products include high-end STBs, consumer PCs and other consumer electronic products. The strong engineering teams are making best efforts to develop powerful and advanced products based on Intel's powerful microprocessors to make Intel the No.1 consumer electronics supplier and leading company both in China and global market.

 

Job responsibility:

As an intern, you will have the chance to get in touch with Intel's newest microprocessors for consumer electronics and the whole embedded system for the high-end STB. Your responsibility will include but not restricted to the following:

1. Validate the Intel's consumer electronics (CE) linux platform's basic functions;

2. Develop different type of CE STB products prototype focusing on the software;

3. Duplicate customer's project issues in Intel Shenzhen lab;

4. Help customer to locate the bugs' root causes based on validation data;

5. Follow Intel's internal bug solving process when required;

 

Requirements:

1. Major in EE or CS or Software related majors, and must be very strong on computer and software basic knowledge;

2. Experience with the C language. Open source projects developing working experiences on linux platform is an advantage. Be able to use the following software technologies:

l   GNU Make system;

l   Autoconf, automake and libtool;

l   Bash Shell script programming;

l   Basic version control conceptions.

3. Embedded project experience related to the video/audio processing.

4. Patience with team-work spirits;

5. Fluent English, both spoken and written.

6. Preferably Postgraduate student and able to work in Intel Shenzhen DHG lab at least 4 days in a week.  Internship will last for six month to one year.
