Supplier Development Specialist Intern (Ethical Sourcing)
 
Prefer 5 days per week for 7 months.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Support Supplier Development Program and facilitate training on human resources, environmental and internal monitoring management system, review suppliers' procedures/ processes and identify gaps comparing with Walmart ES Standards.
2. Support remediation program and work with factory to improve their implementation on social and environmental compliance to align with suppliers' code of conduct.
3. Conduct root cause analysis and implement socially responsible solutions to improve factory working conditions and environment.  
4. Participate in strategic initiatives that support ES and Sustainability goals and objectives. May lead projects or acts as a resource for projects.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, industry associations, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders on partnership projects and initiatives.
6. Act as a knowledge expert and provide inputs on complex issues.  
 
 
Requirements:
1. Excellent English translation
2. Excellent report writing
3. Excellent presentation skill
4. Quick learner  
5. Degree in Translation/ English Language/ Corporate Communication is a must
6. 1-2 years relevant experience is a must
7. Experience with management consultancy/ social environmental compliance are preferred
