An Zhong (AZ) Investment Management is an independent asset management and advisory business in HK and Shanghai. Our partners include Italy's largest independent asset manager with more than 17 billion Euro under management and a management team with significant China experience. We are currently looking for individuals with superior problem solving skills to join our research and client development teams.

Position Description

Assistants are responsible for building, maintaining and improving proprietary financial models used to evaluate China's macroeconomic and industry sectors. In addition Assistants are required to closely follow national and international news, macro trends and forecasts and be prepared to comment on daily price movements in a variety of asset classes. Finally Assistants must maintain client databases, provide follow up reports and create marketing materials. Please note, this is an entry-level position.

Candidate Requirements

1) Interested candidates should have a strong academic background and an interest in domestic and international financial markets.
2) Successful Assistants have a deep understanding of China's policies, trade systems and regulatory framework.
3) Individuals that are flexible, open minded, work well in an entrepreneurial environment and appreciate teamwork will feel at home.
4) Native Mandarin, Conversational English.
