Position Summary:

- To coordinate the planning, design, prototyping, testing

- To provide technical assistance on customer design

- Define Technical solutions by preparing technical elements of proposal

- Supporting the sales team in technical product presentation and demonstration

- Follow up and monitor all the customers' activities on opportunities

Principal Activities:

- Coordinate planning between BorgWarner and customers

- Define technical solutions

- Coordinate drawings and analysis

- Establish technical documentation to support the programs such as calculation sheets, DFMEA, Design & Validation Plan

- Review drawings with internal and external suppliers

- Support Sales team in technical presentation

- Follow up and moitor all the customers' activities on opportunities

Bachelor degree in Engine/Mechanical/Hydraulic fields

Summary:

Can do mechanical simulation analysis independently, and give the solution for design optimization and products' failure analysis; familiar with engine and turbocharger structure and working principles; familiar with FEA softwares

1) Perform engineering analyses (mechanical, vibration, thermal, dynamics, LCF and HCF, etc.)

2) Identify structural design risk and provide design solutions via simulation approaches

3) Participate in the development of improved design guidelines consistent with customer requirements; Generate technical reports and present to internal and external customers.

4) Perform appropriate level of CAD function to develop design concept

5) Apply engineering and problem solving methods and tools (FMEAs, 8ds) in resolving engineering design problems

Master degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Material Science and Engineering
