Overview:
The purpose of the IT Support Engineer is to provide an efficient and effective 1st line support and problem solving service for internal users in order to maintain a productive working environment. The role also involves providing support to the company's SAP project team and assists the enhancement of SAP system.
This role is ideal for quality candidate of computer science, software engineering or related degree, who wishes to immerse themselves into the commercial and fast-moving dynamics of a successful and rapidly growing company.
The candidate should have proven problem solving ability with knowledge of SAP system. The candidates should face company's end users and provide them solutions to problems raised. And the candidates should document each problem and monitor the status. Candidates could escalate the open problems to project team for 2nd line support.
The candidates should also be involved in implementing SAP system based on end users' requirements and requests. Candidates should be responsible to maintain IT related documents and support the project team to handle end users' relationship.
The qualified candidates will continue their career path in company after graduation.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for handling daily IT helpdesk and troubleshooting SAP issues;
2. Maintain and update related IT documents and records;
3. Work closely with the local project teams to implement and support the SAP implementation and enhancement work;
Job Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related subject;
2. Good concept about programming;
3. Skill for Windows XP, MS-office and daily PC software;
4. Have strong ability and willingness to learn business and new technology;
5. Knowledge of SAP Business One or SAP R/3 system is a plus;
6. Good inter-personal communication skills;
7. Can work at least three days per week
