Position: Legal Intern (Guangzhou)
Report to: Senior Legal Counsel, SHV Energy China
Job Description:
- Responsible for Blueprint operation for SHV Gas China (regular and ad hoc updates, quarterly/yearly confirmation reports, training etc)
- Responsible for updates and reports for Blueprint Plus: shareholding structure, corporate information summary, corporate governance summary, directorship status, filling plants/shop leasing status, litigation report, legal fees, legal bulletin, tracking and filing of key corporate files
- Assisting the in-house counsels in their legal work such as legal research, translation, reviewing of contracts, preparation for litigation cases, liaison with outside counsels, compliance etc
- assisting the in-house counsels for the company secretaries work such as replacement for directors, changes of articles of association, board meeting/minutes etc
- assisting in the management of company chops
Competency requirements:
- Majoring in laws
- Preferably in passing the PRC bar examination
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Computer skill: be good at word, excel, and power point.
- Effective problem-solving skills and being a good team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to grow and learn
