ERICO currently has two (2) exciting opportunities for a Junior  Application Engineer. Provide engineering and documentation support for the application of ERICO products, thereby directly supporting the sales effort. This function
creates new applications for existing products

Job Description
 
The intern will support the ERICO Engineering Departement in Shanghai (currently 6 people including a foreign manager
with whom you will have to speak English) by assisting with the following types of tasks:
1-Support of engineering laboratory operations: define test procedures and design test fixtures, run the tests, document
your work and compile a test report in English in line with ERICO standards. 
2-Support the electrical and mechanical team with their day to day customer support work in the Asia/Australia region.
3-Lead  engineering  projects  whose  main  aim  would  be  to  faciliate  and  improve  the  efficiency  of  the  day-to-day
operations of the ERICO Shanghai engineering team (can involve creating templates, programming routines,...). 
4-Lead or participate in other engineering projects such as developement of product line  extensions  depending  on  the
needs of the company at the time of your intership.

Profile
 
1-Bachelor of mechanical or electrical engineering
2-Fluent English and desire to improve
3-Knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD a plus but not necessary
4-Knowledge of basic computer programming a plus
