PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Active Global Support has a number of productive internal business systems used by SAP worldwide. One of these systems is the Business Intelligence (BI) system, where Active Global
Support has a number of productive Business Intelligence solutions for internal reporting. In this context, AGS acts like a customer using SAP's BI product. According to business needs and global strategies new business contents need to be implemented, often based on BI standard contents. In addition, as a service and support platform, "The SAP Solution Manager" is designed to assist customers to implement and operate their IT solutions efficiently. In SAP Solution Manager, data are transferred from SAP to customer so that some BI based service reports can be generated.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Analyze business requirements and develop BW solutions in Solution Manager, including data modeling, data extraction, query building, etc.
- Implement solutions to exchange data between SAP Solution Manager product and SAP backbone BI system
- Implement user interface
- Responsible for content operation, maintenance and support to end users.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree in computer science or comparable education
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Hands on BI or ABAP experience
