Founded by ex-McKinsey consultants in Aug 2009, Meritco Services has expanded to 68 full time consultants with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Chengdu, plus aspecialized M&A advisory team (serving leading global PE funds and strategic buy-and sale sides)  and 19 dedicated research specialists supporting our client service teams.

Our in-house primary execution, CI network and big data analytical capabilities allow us to bring highly differentiated value to our clients. .

Healthcare

We are the leading consultancy in China’s medical device sector, with extensive coverage in Orthopedics, IVD, Cardiology, various consumables, Parts and after-market services.  Our client service topics include  corporate and BU strategy, Go to market, Sales force effectiveness, Marketing, Pricing, Organizational Structure and M&A. ,

TMT

Meritco is one of the most preferred consultancy to many of the world’s  leading technology companies for their China growth studies, with Microsoft, Intel, Cisco, Google, Dell and Digital China extensively subscribing to our services.  We have built strong expertise in Cloud, Mobile Internet, IoT, Semiconductor, Sales and  Distribution of IT Services and Devices and selected Telecom topics.  We have a dedicated research team tracking and forecasting technology trends and market development

Industrial

We have developed the largest in-house vertical B2B interview and research network to support ambitious industrial companies to map China market opportunities, develop corporate strategy, optimize go-to-market planning and improve dealer and distributor  management.  In addition, we have a specialized taskforce serving leading global auto-parts clients on engagements ranging from margin improvement, growth acceleration to organizational topics.

Investor Services

We are the 3rd largest consultancy in China specializing in Private Equity and Hedge Fund services (next only to McKinsey and Bain). Our deep sector knowledge and integrated research capabilities allow us to provide our clients with independent investment opinion and comprehensive support throughout the transaction value chain (incl., target screening, pre-DD, CDD, portfolio management, value creation, and exit).

Real Estate

We are the emerging leader in Real Estate services and aspired to be the best in the space. Leveraging our real estate team’s sector expertise and strong analytical capabilities, we helped our clients redesigning their growth strategies to cope with evolving macro/ regulatory trends and increasingly dynamics competitive environment. Our clients include e.g., Vanke, Gemdale, and leading real estate investment funds.

Preferred profile for Real Estate Practice candidates

1. Undergraduate or graduate with a focus on real estate/ real estate finance/ real estate economics from top tier Chinese or overseas universities
2. Candidate who have prior work/ internship experience in real estate developers (preferably strategy and marketing functions)
3. Real estate investment professionals from investment banks, trust firms, private equity funds with experience and interest in real estate
4. Research analysts or consultants from leading consulting firms or real estate agencies

We don’t have a preference in prior work/ internship experience for our generalist positions (We will provide extensive business and consulting skills trainings). For TMT and Healthcare specialist positions, educational background and working experience in technology (e.g., majors in CS/ EE and TMT experience from top tier firms) and healthcare (e.g., majors in biology/ chemistry/ public health and relevant working experience) context are highly valued.
