Networks & Communication
The Networks & Communication Technology Field provides hard-wired and wireless communication solutions for a spectrum of industries. Solutions cover a wide range of applications from network technology via communication middleware to application layer protocols. Our team supports the Future Internet and the Internet of Things (IoT), both of which will be the foundation for industrial applications. We also deliver technologies connecting autonomous and embedded systems to the internet. Our experts are located in Germany, Austria and China.
What are my responsibilities?
Areas of Responsibility:
Research and development of innovative M2M data services and Web applications for industrial businesses
Piloting innovative ideas and solutions together with end customers and local innovation partners
Internal contact: sales and business development teams, specialists of R&D department
External contact: specialists of client and local technology partners; Understanding customer's needs; Demonstration of innovation and customer's benefits;
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Competencies: technical leading position in a research project on one of the following areas
software architecture
ontology learning / engineering
ubiquitous / pervasive computing
knowledge management / engineering
Web application
Experience with the following technologies preferred
RDF, OWL, RIF
cloud / distributed computing
sensor networks
Experience with English as working language preferred;
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
