Description on Valuation Services, Financial Advisory Services
As one of the largest and most comprehensive advisory organization in the Asia Pacific region, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services ("FAS") practice provides our clients full range of services and supports, including Corporate Finance Advisory Services, Forensic & Dispute Services, M&A Transaction Services, Restructuring Services and Valuation Services.
Deloitte Valuation Advisory Services ("VS") work closely with client's management and provide them with insightful information that helps them identify important factors that affect business value, and values of financial assets and liabilities that they hold, and ultimately establish the fair value. It involves the assessment of the values of financial assets/liabilities or target companies using applicable methodologies and models, and the identification of key valuation drivers and critical pricing parameters underlying the performance of these financial assets/liaibilities or acquisition targets. A valuation is critical to making effective investor strategy and forward planning decisions. In addition, VS also work closely with client's management on the market and credit risk exposures of these financial assets/liabilities in providing analysis, measurement and management solution of these exposures, as well as advising on their treasury requirements and management.
Job responsibilities:
· Assist in valuation related to financial instruments and treasury market risk
· Assist in valuation of businesses
· Perform valuation work including financial modelling, financial analysis, data collection and research, report writing and proposal preparation, etc. under guidance of managers and partners
· Assist in other advisory engagements related to treasury and treasury risk
· Assist in identification, assessment and resolution of issues or problems
· Support our other lines of services as appropriate and necessary
Requirements:
· Bachelor degree or above with major in Quantitative Finance, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering preferred. Other majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business administration would also be considered
· Graduated students or will graduate in 2014
· Strong analytical and communication skills with high commitment to quality client service
· Fast learner, with flexibility and adaptability to work in different service lines and on different industries
· Self-initiation, good team player and willingness to work under pressure
· Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese, including both technical and business writing, good documentation and presentation skills
· Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Financial Instrument pricing software, VBA, Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.
· Willing to travel
