Job Description
Situated in a multi-lingual, fast-paced, close-knit environment, this position demands an agile and dependable individual who seeks experience in, and can be an effective part of, the creation of team-driven solutions for non-Chinese businesses succeeding in China. A successful candidate will begin as a trainee and, based on performance, be eligible for a full-time contract as a junior associate.
Successful candidates will manage, lead and contribute to the completion of substantive projects by:
(i) Crafting game plans to successfully deliver completed work product to clients;
(ii) Managing and reviewing primary and secondary research;
(iii) Preparing and delivering formal and informal advice;
(iv) Working closely with foreign and Chinese team members; and
(v) Managing client expectations.
Criteria
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
(i) At least bachelor's degree in Law;
(ii) Passed Bar Exam (preferred, not mandatory);
(iii) Strong research skills;
(iv) Microsoft proficient;
(v) Strong verbal and written English; and
(vi) Available for a six month term.
During the trainee period, this position can be compensated RMB 80 per day, with bonus upon completion of six-month term.
