Job Description of Developer, Intern (Location: Shanghai)

 

 

Futures First Job Description:

Futures First Investment Consulting (FFIC) is the Chinese subsidiary of a London based trading group, Hertshten Group which operates in the leading financial exchanges around the world over 20 years. Futures First emerged into China in 2007 and currently has one headquarter in Shanghai, one office in Shanghai, one office in Beijing and one office in Wuhan, with over 200 employees.

We are looking for an intern to help our technical expert with developing front office tools for the futures trading business. The requirements will come from traders, operations team or managers.
You will have opportunities to get involved in the live trading business with your coding skill and knowledge, and make it more efficient and profitable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         SOLID knowledge of Excel / VBA; Knowledge of working with Excel Add-ons (Reuters or Bloomberg) and APIs (RTD)

·         SOLID knowledge of C#.

·         Having statistic background is a plus

·         Major in Math/Science/Engineering in one of the top universities.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Working hours: flexible, 8 hours per day.

Research Analyst Internship

Responsibilities:

You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; knowledge of information systems and the web; as well as your research abilities to support senior colleagues and support the operational work of the Research and Capital Market.

•        Research, collect and compile information; Maintain and update quantitative and qualitative economic, financial, or statistical databases.

•        Evaluate economic, financial or statistical relationships in databases. Analyze economic time series data.

•        Understand and evaluate economic cycle/development; central bank stances/actions.

•        Design systems/set-ups competent to generate trade recommendations based on fundamental/technical analyses.

•        User of Bloomberg, Reuters, Excel and other resources.

•        You will report to Research Associate and head of capital market.

Requirements:

•        Major in Finance, economics or mathematics.

•        Good Microsoft office skills ( ppt, excel and word)

•        Good written and oral English

•        Good communication skills and comfortable giving presentations

•        Will graduate this year with master degree

•        Can work at least 4 day per week
