Job Title: Sales Supervisor - Mongolia
Department/Division: Strategy & Development
Report to: Associate BD Director
Job Purpose:
The Strategy & Development team will foster the development of the nascent Mongolian market and put it on the Pernod Ricard map. In order to achieve this objective, it will:
- § Portray the market by improving facts and data collection
- § Assess the performance of its distributor and find improvement levers
- § Communicate on achievements to raise the awareness of Group stakeholders
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
- § Create & own vision for IS in the Mongolian market
- § Coordinate day-to-day relationship with local PR distributor:
- § Order placement
- § Inventory level monitoring
- § Billing facilitation
- § Marketing activities coordination
- § Prepare Budget & 4-year plan
- § Build core data base to help inform business decisions, e.g. consumer segmentation, market landscape, competitive intelligence
- § Liaise with Business Development Director & VP, Strategy & Development on core topics and escalate issues
- § Establish a footprint in the market, address corporate needs while building a constructive relationship with Pernod Ricard's distributor
- § Work across a rich spectrum of activities, effectively covering all core functions of an organization (Marketing / Finance / Sales / HR / Supply Chain) while leveraging resources within PRC to land specific tasks
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- § 0-5+ years experience as an operational Line Manager in W&S industry
- § Strong track record of delivering on projects requiring proved entrepreneurship skills
- § Well-rounded, dynamic professional willing to embrace a pioneering role in a nascent & promising market
- § Fluent in English, fluency in Mongolian a plus
- § Based in Shanghai
- § Ability to travel 50% of time to Mongolia
