job summary
We are seeking an analyst to work with our Research Manager in Qingdao on our agriculture and/or marine policy portfolio. Please note this role is based in Qingdao.
responsibilities
keep abreast of policy events, trends, key figures and discussion to produce quality analysis
analyse and assess policy developments across relevant sectors
develop people and organisation profiles
some translation of policy-relevant articles from Chinese to English
collaborate with research staff on commissioned client research projects
generally assist the research manager
knowledge and skills
masters level in agriculture, fishery, marine, politics, law or relevant area
professional standard of English
native-level Chinese
eye for detail and clear communicator
interest in closely following Chinese policy debates
flexible and able to take initiative
ability to deliver work on time
