General Description:
The Purchasing Master Data Team has for mission to increase data availability and accuracy in information systems, in order to bring support and added-value to the Purchasing function. In a nutshell, data quality is our key to success!
The Purchasing Master Data Team is organized as follows:
- France: Central Team (Head of Master Data Governance & Data Owners)
- Shanghai: Eastern Shared Service (Head of Shared Service & Data Administrators)
- Monterrey: Western Shared Service (Head of Shared Service & Data Administrators)
The Eastern Shared Service in Shanghai is currently recruiting 1 Data Administrator (Intern) to address the following specialties: Vendor Master Data
The Data Administrator role is to:
- Handle new supplier creations and updates
- Guarantee data availability and accuracy in the global purchasing tools
- Be responsible for the operational implementation of Master Data Model defined by Data Owner
- Optimize the use of tools and workflows along the process changes (procedure, training...)
- Drive transversal data cleansing in close coordination with Tools Solution Managers
- Keep Master Data in line with legal requirements or organizational changes
All Data Administrators will be hierarchically reporting to the Head of Eastern Shared Service, and functionally reporting to the related Data Owner of the Central Team. Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (shuttle buses). Possible overtime.
Qualities:
- Analytical, conscientious, fast learner
- Self-motivated, able to drive/deliver for the team
- Able to work independently, handle routine work and at ease in a multi-cultural environment
- Sensitivity to data (can handle big quantity of information), able to deal with a variety of IT systems
Qualification:
- Diploma: Bachelor's degree required
- Languages: Good level of English required, French is a plus
- Experience in data management is a plus
- IT Skills: good knowledge of MS Excel. MS Access
