Computational Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University
数学与计算科学学院位于中山大学南校区，前身是始创于1924年的中山大学数学系。目前，学院下设两个系（数学系、统计科学系）和五个研究机构（计算科学实验室、数学研究所、计算科学与计算机应用研究所、复杂系统研究中心、华南统计科学研究中心），拥有数学、统计学两个一级学科并形成了具有鲜明特色的优势学术领域。学院现拥有一批教育部“长江学者”特聘教授、国家杰出青年基金获得者等在国内外有一定影响力的教授和学者。
School of Mathematics & Computational Sciences, originally known as the Mathematics Department founded in 1924, is located on the South Campus of Sun Yat-sen University. The school houses two departments and five research institutions and consists of two First Grade Disciplines (mathematics and statistics), forming a distinct feature in its research field. A fair number of “Changjiang Scholars”, winners of “The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars” as well as other renowned professors and scholars are serving for the school.

In order to achieve the grand goal of building a world-class university, Sun Yat-sen University is dedicated to expanding its research team and encourages young students to devote themselves to academic studies as well as scientific research. As a result, while enjoying a substantial salary and being the backbone of the research team, the successful applicants do not have to undertake teaching tasks and will be highly competitive in the talent pool for core teachers. With the office building newly constructed in 2013, the school provides its employees with comfortable working environment.
学院积极推进人才引进和培养工作，根据学校核定及各团队的科研需求，现面向国内外公开招聘37名专职科研人才和博士后若干名(名额不限)。
The school actively promotes the introduction and training of the talented, recruiting outstanding scholars in accordance with the regulations of the university and the demand of each research team.
