中南林业科技大学班戈学院（以下简称"班戈学院"）是经中国教育部批准（教外办学函[2013]70号）由中南林业科技大学和英国班戈大学合作建立的湖南省首家中外合作办学机构，位于中国长沙。班戈学院将全面施行英国高质量教育理念、课程体系、考核标准，等等；目前开设有林学、金融学、会计学、电子工程4个本科专业。班戈学院的学生无论是全程在中国境内学习还是赴英学习一至两年，毕业时均可获得班戈大学和中南林业科技大学的学士学位证书，也可赴英攻读班戈大学硕士或者博士学位。

Lecturer of Electronic Engineering

 

Applications are invited for the full time post of Assistant Lecturer of Electronic Engineering at Bangor College, Central South University of Forestry and Technology (CSUFT), Hunan province, People's Republic of China.

 

Established in 2014, Bangor College is an exciting joint venture between Bangor University in the UK and CSUFT in China. It provides high quality British style education to students. A range of undergraduate programmes are provided at Bangor College including: accounting and finance, banking and finance and electronic engineering. All programmes are based on the curricula, teaching methods, academic standards and regulations of Bangor University.

  

Main responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Deputy Dean of Bangor College, the Assistant Lecturer is responsible for the following:

• Scheduling, arranging and hosting regular problem classes and tutorial sessions.
• Collating and preparing supplementary teaching materials.
• Liaising with Bangor University and Bangor staff to ensure academic and administrative tasks are completed to schedule;
• Oversee the assessment of the Electronic Engineering modules;
• Ensure that annual monitoring and review processes for modules in Electronic Engineering in Bangor College are completed in a timely manner;
• Assist the Deputy Dean to deal with issues related to teaching and learning.

  

Essential

• A first degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Engineering or other relevant subject area;
• Knowledge of the structure and operation of degree programmes in British/Western universities;
• Experience of undergraduate teaching in Electronic Engineering or similar subjects;
• Excellent organisation, communication and inter-personal skills;
• Ability to work accurately to deadlines and under pressure;
• An excellent team player;
• A willingness to work flexibly as required.

 Good command of English and Chinese (speaking and writing).

 

Desirable

        A higher degree in a relevant subject area;

        Experience of teaching and assessment of undergraduate students in a University environment;

         Experience of the administration of courses and modules in British / Western universities;

        Knowledge of quality assurance procedures relating to University degrees.

  

 Job Type: Full time three years contract with possibility of extension.

 

Salary: from RMB 9,000 per month.
