Job responsibilities:
Pricing
1.Perform pricing reviews and risk modelling on personal lines insurance portfolios
2.Support product filing for different types of business
3.Enhance portfolio monitoring processes and pricing tools to support underwriting and portfolio management
4.Work closely with business units to improve current products and develop new products
5.Conduct market research, competitor analysis and assist in portfolio optimization
Requirements:
1.2016 fresh graduates with Bachelor degree or above from top university, major in mathematics, statistics or actuarial studies. Candidate with less than 3 years working experience in data analyst or actuary will be considered.
2.Solid understanding and practical experience with a range of predictive modelling (eg. Generalised Linear Modelling) and data mining techniques (eg. machine learning, decision trees, etc).
3.Strong quantitative, analytical skills combined with innovative thinking
4.Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to translate complicated data into clear and concise messages for the management
5.Good command of English and Mandarin
6.Some knowledge of software such as Excel VBA, SAS and R
