IT intern in ASSC:
Job Summary:
IT technology support to Actuarial department, mainly on SQL database setup and development, C++/C# tools/application build-up, VBA and excel tool development and build-up.
Responsibilities:
- Assist SQL database setup and development for Actuarial model result database.
- Build up Automation tools (mainly C++/C#, VBA) for Actuarial valuation production and reporting process.
- Develop and maintain the Excel tool, including the corresponding VBA logic.
- Documentation of the developments.
- Spreadsheet (Actuarial Excel model) maintenance if possible.
- Data conversion system maintenance if possible.
Requirements:
- University with a major in IT, Mathematics or Statistics, prefer undergraduate student of year 4 or postgraduate student of year 1.
- Be familiar with excel/VBA, C++/C#, SQL.
- At least 3-months internship period.
- Prefer if the career development direction is modelling in financial industry.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good communicationskills, and a good team player.
