SYSTEM VALIDATION ENGINEER
Mission:
As part of the project, is responsible for the validation of the product at system level.
Description of the activity:
As part of the project:
- Is able to read and understand Customer and System Requirements.
- Is involved in the testability analysis of Customer or System Requirements.
- Writes System Validation Test Cases, ensuring a full coverage of the Customer or System Requirements and also focusing on product robustness and performance.
- Executes System Validation Test Cases on bench or in the vehicle and writes the corresponding Test Reports.
- Knows the vehicle network in term of electrical/logical architecture and messages mapping.
- Has a good knowledge of the customer norms and specifications related to Vehicle Network and Diagnostic.
- Is able to use tools designed to simulate the in-car environment (including Diagnostic feature).
- Is able to use and customize tools designed to execute automated or semi-automated tests on dedicated product features.
- Participates to joint test sessions with the customer technicians and testers.
- As part of Technical Support activities:
* Ensures the correct functioning of all test benches of the Project (hardware, tools, etc.) and make the required repairs.
* Ensures the correct configuration of the test cars.
"* Is the R&D referent for MM residents in Customer plants, and ensure the good diffusion of the information.

* Organizes training sessions on the Product for MM plant and Customer plants (and manage the creation of required documents).
* Is ready to support MM and Customer plants in case of issues during industrialization phase (first level analysis, logs and information collection…).
- Is involved in the product defects reporting and tracking process, providing in particular support to the analysis / correction teams.
- Follows the process and uses the tools recommended by the System Validation Professional Line.
- Participates actively to the continuous improvement of MM I&T System Validation processes, techniques and tools.
- Strictly follows OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO TS 16949 and ISO 26262 recommendations.
- Considers quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction as main targets throughout the performance of his/her activities.
Requirements:
School & professional experience:
- At least Bachelor degree in Electronics Information Engineering or computer science, embedded systems.
Language:
(1-Basic ; 2-Consolidated ; 3-Strong ; 4-Fluent ; 5-Mother language)
- Chinese (Mandarin): 5
- English: 3/4
Technical skills:
(1-Basic knowledge ; 2-Consolidated knowledge/Practitioner ; 3-Strong knowledge/Autonomy ; 4-Expert/Trainer)
- Defects management skills and tools usage: 3
- Capability to use tools to write and manage System Validation Tests (DOORS tool or equivalent): 2
- Capability to write validation test cases taking into account the testing environment (on bench
and in the vehicle), the applicable testing techniques, the Customer and System requirements, the
use cases: 3
- Capability to write test cases to carry out the full system validation against Customer or
System Requirements and the expected system behaviour. For each test, the testing
environment, the initial conditions, the test procedure, the given inputs, and the expected
outputs have to be considered: 3
- Capability to write test reports upon test cases execution: 3
- Architecture of Real-Time embedded systems: 1
- HW skills applicable to embedded systems and testing tools: 2
