Responsibility:
Typical Duties:
1. Supervise shift production routine management control activities (e.g. attendance);
2. Achieve daily production plan and meet quality requirements.
3. Reallocating tasks or rescheduling production, where necessary.
4. Supervising and motivating a team of workers. Trains production personnel to perform individual scope of work,
constantly coach with established standard operation manual/ company policies and procedure (ISO-9001/ OSHA/ ISO-
14001).
5. Constantly review and enforce health, environmental and safety standards, work practices and housekeeping
policies and procedures.
6. Improve and maintain equipment up-time and sustain OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
above 90%.
7. Report daily production output, defective & scrap, batteries per person/hour, and batteries per measured hour.
8. Provide CAR (Corrective Action Plan) Report irregardless of material variances, major quality problem, EHS (Environment, Health &Safety) and any others issues occurred in the line.
9. Submit Weekly report to production area manager covers (a) Headcount/ attendance/ Over-time (b) Production volume - Actual Vs Plan (c)
Quality – defective/ scrap rate (d) Equipment down-time/ OEE (e) Safety records and (f) Others.
10. Overtime is required to meet internal and external customer requirements.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Production Management or related discipline with minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing operations, or
2. Excellent interpersonal skills and team work.
3. Hands-on mentality with good analytical skills is strongly recommended.
4. Basic English speaking, listening, writing ability is a plus.
