Specific responsibilities
- To learn on the job in the key areas of Technical Support, Application Development or R&D Function for 24 months period.
- To Respond to internal and external customer enquiries, complaints and application-related issues.
- To introduce products & processes and R&D new solutions to current and potential customers.
- To be responsible to translate customer requirements into product specifications.
- To collect and deal with all the information needed for product formulation optimizing;
- To generate new ideas and innovations of products based on marketing strategy and management decision.
- To optimize the products technology and raw material cost reduction and alternative raw material to adapt to local availability;
- To monitor continuously the laboratory, pilot plant and plant activities and report monthly and quarterly to the manager on the activities and progress for the relevant projects and write the technology related documents;
Education and experience
- MSc or higher degree in Life/Materials management or Engineering or science (Chemical, Biology, Materials etc.).
- Knowledge of industries and markets.
- knowledge of products and/or applications.
- Know how on processing and design.
- Innovative.
- Fluent in English and Chinese.
Technical Skills
- Chemical engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Material sciences (polymer, chemistry related), industrial engineering, etc.
- Communication skills.
