The primitive name of Shanghai Tech Center (hereinafter: STC)  is TRW Automotive research and development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. It established in 2004, and transferred to TRW Automotive Technologies (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (STC) Mechanical Engineer Trainee
(Braking/Steering/Electronics)
Major Responsibilities 

• Construction of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic brake systems and system components.
  
  
• Create basic design in line with internal and customer requirements, specifications and guidelines according to instructions and cost targets.
• Documentation of the design and all other relevant processes according to Engineering and quality guidelines.
• Development and support for the Application of components on components systems.
• Creation of specifications for new components and systems.
• Utilize engineering disciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA and CAE to develop robust design solutions

Requirement:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or commercial.
• Problem solving capability and drive for results.
• Good influencing and leadership skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong team player and quick learner.

(STC) Simulation/NVH Engineer Trainee (OSS)
Major Responsibilities 

• Coordination of customers' project concerning the multidisciplinary task acoustics and
• Acoustic evaluation of occupant safety systems integrated in the vehicle at customer site: test planning and management of prototype setups, conception and surveillance of testing, evaluation and presentation of result as well as cooperation with other departments and external partners.
• Basic investigations: noise behaviour of occupant safety systems in vehicle.

Requirement:

• Graduate the master from majors of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, astronautics or physics focused on technical acoustics/ vibration Problem solving capability and drive for results.
• Keen perception, strong assertions, outstanding communication skills, structured working manner even under pressure and flexibility.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong team player and quick learner.

(STC) Software Engineer Trainee (Steering/Electronics)
Key Responsibilities 

• Analyze, generate and maintain components control functional requirements
• Generate and maintain functional model within Matlab/Simulink
• Generate and maintain software design
• Perform coding and related static and dynamic tests (unit test, model in the loop test, integrated bench test)
• Support vehicle test team on control function related issues & perform stability analysis
• Provide necessary support on customer control function topic during project quotation & running

Qualification

• Bachelor or above on any major of Vehicle (Automotive) Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Information Science and Technology, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation
• Control theory / Vehicle dynamics
• Matlab / Simulink modeling / C and C++ programming
• Fluent English speaking and listening
• Matlab / Simulink auto code generation preferred
• AUTOSAR knowledge preferred
• CAN/Diagnosis knowledge preferred
• Software engineering theory preferred

Basic hardware knowledge on embedded system preferred

(STC) System Engineer Trainee (Steering/ Braking/Electronics)
Key Responsibilities 

• Lead or support analysis activities as required - DFMEA, DRBFM, PFMEA, etc.
• Lead or support product development Issue tracking, resolution, closure documentation
• Establish system-level manufacturing and assembly "end-of-line" test requirements and limits
• Deliver system work products in support of the TRW Safety Process
• Lead or support development of new features, functions, diagnostics, verification tests, etc. as required

Qualification

• Master degree in automotive engineering, electrical Engineering other related areas.
• High levels of initiative and resourcefulness; capable of operating with minimal direction

Major Responsibilities 

• To manage brake systems customer application projects (including foundation brake and actuation product applications) in AP market.
• To establish and execute brake system development/validation testing plan together with internal and external teams (customers) for the responsible projects.
• To lead system integration for brake application systems.
• To interface with customers to understand customers' requirements and to communicate with customers through informal and formal presentations and meetings.
• To interface and closely work with foundation brake and actuation product engineering teams to define product proposals and system/packaging analysis for A/P applications.
• To support sales team to development new customers and business opportunities.
• To interface, closely work with and support global brake product development teams for product development to ensure the customers' requirements are met.

(STC) Hardware Engineer Trainee (Electronics)
Key Responsibilities 

• Utilize engineering disciplines including Six Sigma, DFMEA, DFM/DFA to develop robust design solutions.
• Generate concise and effective analyses, reports and presentations for both internal and customer focused discussions and reviews.
• Develop system/component test plans and processes.
• Lead/support the design and development of hardware schematics, BOMs & layouts.
• ECU and system hardware design.
• Circuit design and analysis.

Qualification

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Hardware or Electrical Engineering or related field required
• Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment.
• Highly motivated and disciplined in time management

(STC) Test Engineer Trainee (Electronics)
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, commission, service and maintain the test equipments and the test fixtures/jigs/harnesses to the highest possible standard, with support from other engineers and/or outside contract resource as applicable to a project;
• Perform test set-ups for automotive safety electronics, steering electronics, braking electronics and driver assistance electronics for environmental, durability, EMC and functional tests.
• Responsible for the specification, implementation, and support of Functional Test Systems that satisfy technical, quality, and commercial needs of the business with the support from the engineers at headquarter.
• Produce test equipment solutions, ensuring optimum test performance, minimum test times, and commonality of design where possible while satisfying accuracy, Health Safety & Environmental, reliability, maintainability, usability, flexibility requirements;
• Provide support for the outsourced labs in terms of test set-up, test specification, continuous improvement activities, test yield improvement and equipment breakdowns.
