Position description
As we do our best to push forward and meet the demands of our customers, we need a smooth and super-effective supply chain. In order to achieve this, we need talents like you.
What you’ll do
As a Supply Line Manager at Intel, you will be responsible for converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to inventory health/optimization; streamlined / reliable services and logistics; and supplier performance.
You will also be required to:
Coordinate purchasing activities such as generating / managing forecasts and schedules.
Monitor the acquisition of goods and services in support of the factory
Execute contractual requirements as well as meet with suppliers to discuss performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies.
Partner with the factory to drive best possible availability of goods and services.
Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to support factory SLA’s and quality requirements.
Participate in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization.
Work with cross organizational teams to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor's or a Master's degree with the following skills or capabilities:
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written) with both English and/or Chinese fluency and comprehension
- Good problem solving skills, analytical ability, time management capability and project management competence
- Ability to work well as a member of a team and a quick learner
- Ability to execute tasks and projects under minimal supervision
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Proficiency in Outlook*, Excel*, Word*, Access*, and PowerPoint*
- Project management skills
- Stakeholder management skills
