Global Banking and Markets Summer Internship Programme
Our internships in Global Banking and HSBC Securities Services are for students in the penultimate year of their university degree. Each provides an ideal introduction to the fast-paced world of investment banking, helping you decide how to develop your career. Perform well and you may be considered for a global graduate programme in Global Banking and Markets.

Global Liquidity and Cash Management Summer Internship Programme
Global Liquidity and Cash Management is one of HSBC's global product lines and part of Global Banking and Markets, to support relationship managers by providing the products and expertise their customers need. Eight-week internship in Global Liquidity and Cash Management delivers the knowledge of GLCM products and services across our international network. Perform well and you could be offered the opportunity to join our Global Liquidity and Cash Management Global Graduate Programme.

 

 

Programme Synopsis
Duration: 8 weeks of full-time paid internship, starting from the first Monday of July 2017
Areas: Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Global Banking, HSBC Securities Services

Who can apply?
This programme is for students in their penultimate year of university study, who're expected to achieve degree during Sep 2017 - Jul 2018.

Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen

To be considered for a placement, you will:
Act with integrity, in keeping with HSBC's values
Have outstanding interpersonal skills, even when under pressure
Have strong commercial acumen and a flair for problem solving
Be self-motivated, confident and articulate
Successfully go through all relevant assessments

What to expect
You'll complete an eight-week placement, where you'll contribute to a live project or a number of transactions, working with products and services experts across our international network. There will also be regular business and social events for you to attend in order to begin building a network of contacts.

Learning, development and support
The programme is composed of induction, tailor-made class-room training and placement. You'll join your placement team, where you'll receive a combination of practical experience and classroom training, and learn how our people tailor these to provide customers with solutions. You'll also be assigned a mentor and paired with a buddy during the 8 weeks' programme to enrich your experience.
