Job Responsibilities:

• Work with Customer and Harman Sales staff to identify system requirements. Define and document system architecture. Define component specifications and review costs.

• Support assigned PLM projects as the team member with responsibility and accountability for all System Engineering activities.

• Participate in the presentation of concept systems in the pursuit of new business. Demonstrate system performance to Customer to gain approval for each development phase including final sign-off.

• Perform system sound tuning to meet Harman audio system performance target.

• Fully document system and component performance for each phase of the system development. Evaluate system performance and refine/revise content, components and equalization.

• Ensure assigned vehicles are maintained in a clean, roadworthy condition and serviced regularly.

• Provide continuing technical support for production level product.

Basic Qualifications:

Academic: Bachelor degree in Acoustics or Electronics

Practical:

- Knowledge of audio hardware and software, signal processing, vehicle BUS, ANC.

- Familiar with NVH and audio system subjective evaluation.

Travel to customers, suppliers, Harman International sites. Additional working hours outside standard contracted hours expected to ensure deadlines are met.
